Chateau Chantal Harvest Festival
Building on 30+ years of winemaking and hospitality expertise, Chateau Chantal hosts its annual Harvest Festival on the first Saturday in October.
The Harvest Festival tradition continues on Saturday, October 5, from 11 am – 7 pm. All activities occur at Chateau Chantal, 12 miles North of Traverse City on Old Mission Peninsula.

Harvest Festival Activities
11 am – 7 pm | All Day Offerings: Our Tasting Room will be open to the public to enjoy wine flights, wine by the glass, specialty drinks, charcuterie boards, and chef-made food offerings (Food orders stop at 6 pm)! Enjoy our indoor fireplaces, outdoor firepits, open cellar, and B&B room previews. Harvest Festival Discount: 20% off on cases (12 bottles) of wine!
11 am – 6 pm | Art Fair: We are excited to once again host a local art fair during our Harvest Festival! Visit with a selection of our favorite local vendors on site, and pick up some unique Northern Michigan products!
12 pm – 4 pm | Founder’s Open House: Enjoy the picturesque views from Founder Bob Begin’s apartment, chat with Bob as he celebrates his 90th birthday, and watch a video about Bob’s incredible life story.
Scheduled Events:
1 pm | Public Cellar/Vineyard Tour: Learn the basics of winemaking from vine to glass with an up close and personal tour of the winemaking process!
2pm | Grape Stompin’: Put Lucille Ball to shame and get in line for your chance to crush grapes the old-fashioned way; with your feet!
3pm | Cork Toss: Grab a partner and put your cork-tossing skills to the test! See how many successful tosses you can make to be the last team standing. Gift cards await the winning team!
Our Annual Harvest Festival is free to enter! If you’d like to save time by pre-paying for wine by the glass, flights, or specialty drinks, you can do so here!
